Laundry Day for Bath Towels and Rugs

It's been said before, as recently as our last blog to be exact, that any good quality fabric requires the right care to keep it at its best. The same is true for our bath towels and bath rugs which are all cotton and also cotton modal fiber blends. As always, check the care label before laundering but here are some basic steps to follow.

• Wash in warm or cold water and always tumble dry on low. High heat breaks down the cotton and causes shrinking and pulling around any banding features. 
• Wash towels and rugs separately from each other and from other home textiles and garments. Zippers, hooks, snaps and velcro will cause pulls.
• Use a gentle liquid soap free of chemicals, dyes and coloring agents.
